Sabudana Khichdi
Sabudana khichdi is a very famous Indian fasting/Vrat food. People specially make it On Navratri, Shivratri & Janmashtami Ekadshi.
Sabudana also called sago pearls. It is easy to make, and kids also love it.
If you don’t make it correctly, the Sabudana will become sticky.
There is a trick to make it perfect. Here, I will share my secret with you to make easy & perfect Sabudana khichdi.
Ingredients
1. One cup Sabudana
2. Half cup peanut3. One tablespoon jeera or cumin seeds
4. Add salt according to your taste
5. One medium-size potato
6. Two table Spoons of oil
7. Lemon & Coriander leaves
Instructions
1.Wash the Sabudana and let them soak for 3-4 hours.
2. Cut a medium-sized potato.
3.Put a pan on gas and roast the peanuts until they become brown, then let it cool down. Then grind them partially.
4. Now add oil to the pan and when oil is heated, add jeera. When jeera gets little brown, add the potato and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. After that, add the Sabudana on top and do not stir or mix them and cover the pan and leave it for 5 minutes.
5. After 5 minutes add grind peanut and salt & mix them well. Let it cook more 3-4 minutes and it will be ready.
6. Add a little more taste with Lemon & Coriander leaves.
Cooking time 15 minutes
